A healing ointment is provided that should be applied to the procedural area twice a day for seven days. It is necessary to keep the area clean by refraining from putting make up on the procedure for seven days. To keep swelling to a minimum, it is recommended that you apply ice to the procedural area several times in the first 24 hours.
Permanent make up can last more than 5 years if properly taken care of. One way to increase the longevity of the makeup is to take good care of the procedural area while it is healing. Use total sun block and limit chlorine and Retin A exposure to maximize the lifespan of the permanent makeup.
We use the beautiful and hypoallergenic pigments. They were developed 15 years ago and have had no reports of allergic reactions. It is very important that clients fill out the medical history form accurately to disclose of any allergies or medical situations that need special consideration. If a client has allergies, a patch test will be done behind the ear prior the procedure.
